The Kampung Belais and Buda-Buda Consultative Council, Temburong District, held a Fishing Festival. The festival attracted the participation of anglers of all ages who came out to show off their skills in a lively atmosphere.

29 participants took part in the competition. The winner of the competition was determined based on the largest number of fish caught within the specified period. The event was organised to strengthen ties among the community, as well as encourage people to participate in healthy and beneficial activities.
